Timelord.odt - Grenaie

Grenaie Charloris is a very influential and ancient Demiline, most notable for being the progenitor of the Amulets that create the central plot of Timelord.odt. Grenaie has created many Amulets during his time, not just the ones feature in Timelord.odt, and these Amulets are famed for being capable of sealing away even the most Omnipotent of beings. He is one three children of Froidrick Charloris, Achtell of Johunsuun and a Godlike Hybolian that created the entire Overworld of Niag. And between these three children, he is the youngest while also being considered to be by far the most powerful. Grenaie takes the most after his father and shares his ability to control spatial and reality-warping powers, possessing a special affinity with the universe not seen in his siblings Surfrir or Seaira. He is also the only sibling that opted not to ascend to become a Hybolian when given the opportunity, favoring to manipulate his Demiline status to create numerous advantages for himself. As such, he is also informally considered to be the most powerful known Demiline within Timelord.odt (The Demiline Primatell Class is a distinction usually associated with ordinary, mundane human beings akin to who you would find on the street).

He was allied with Zeus and the rest of the Pantheon during the Middle Age, using his ability to seal Hybolians away to enable Zeus by removing his opponents. Grenaie continued to act as the Pantheon's subordinate during the War of the Ilun despite the Ilun's objective of liberating all Demilines from the Pantheon's tyranny. However, after the fall of the Pantheon he and the rest of his siblings are now loyal to Ckronos and Ckrohiem, a third-party faction that was also highly opposed to the ideology of Pantheon. Consequently, Grenaie's actions in the present contradict his actions from the past. He is not an ally of Deondavra, although the two aren't enemies either.

During the events of Ranasekai, Grenaie serves as the Guardian of the "Tir Na Nog" Region of Niag, protecting it from outside forces and Hybolians that may want to influence it. Though technically considered an enemy of the Cazentine Empire, he collaborates with Valgato Rex to prevent the Demon Emperor from drawing Deondavra's intervention. Grenaie additionally rescues Justidime from the clutches of the God "Yen", handing over the then 6-year-old child to Seaira. This ultimately sends Justidime on a 20-year long quest to revive the country of Johunsuun, returning her to her ancestral homeland and completing an ancient prophecy.

Description:
Grenaie's Soul is described as being sealed within the Purple Amulet he wears, much like how he has sealed extremely powerful Hybolians within Amulets in the past. Because even the most powerful of beings are renowned for being unable break Grenaie's seal, this effectively binds his soul permanently to the mortal plane. And as the departure of one's Soul to the afterlife is considered the definition of someone dying, Grenaie is therefore immortal and is virtually impossible to kill; No amount of physical damage will result in his death, even if his body were reduced to dust. Even if one were to "kill" Grenaie by destroying his body and breaking the Amulet's seal, his mastery over the Demiline forme is sufficient to where he could allegedly revive himself regardless and without any outside assistance. Grenaie can regenerate his body at will.

Because of his immortality, Grenaie traditionally appears as an animated skeleton, requiring no form of flesh or internal organs to sustain life; Grenaie prefers his skeletal forme allegedly due to its inability to feel pain and hunger, but chiefly because of "laziness since it requires no form of daily maintenance." Because a Skeleton has no eyes or ears, as well as nose, nervous system, or taste buds, Grenaie's Skeletal form technically lacks of the five senses humans use to perceive the world. But in place of these senses, Grenaie's Soul has the power to directly read the fabric of spacetime, an ability that gives Grenaie cognitive awareness greatly exceeding the capacity of the five senses combined. Even if Grenaie assumes a human form, his spatial awareness ability will, for example, often take precedent over his sense of sight. He may turn his face towards people he's talking to, yet neither make nor even be aware that he is not making eye contact. In fact, since a Skeleton has no brain, Grenaie's consciousness also traditionally does not exist within the observable realm. This means that Grenaie's body is, in essence, moreso a puppet controlled by a supernatural power rather than an actual body.

His Skeletal appearance is often robed in thick clothing to partially mask his fleshless visage. Often he appears as a wizard, with a broad-brimmed pointy hat and thick robe. His attire is typically black, with purple accents.

Grenaie's current body takes the form of a skeleton, since the remaining parts of his body have long since rotted away. He wears a purple robe to conceal the innate slenderness of his body, although he does wear clothing underneath; a long-sleeved white shirt and grey pants. His neck is adorned with numerous forms of jewelry; At least one is required to enable him to speak in despite lacking a voicebox, another is required to keep his body alive, and another to move it. The Amulets he constantly wears enable him to keep on functioning despite being nothing but a skeleton.
