During special occasions, Deondavra may also wear a black blazer.
Aternus, Deondavra’s weapon of choice, appears as a cleaver-like, jagged bronze longsword with red lines etched into the brown metal. The sword has a brown leather hilt decorated with a gold threads and a gold pommel. The guard is also golden and is half-cylinder in shape. When Deondavra is not using Aternus, it is kept hidden underneath his cape, with no physical sheath.
Persona:
Hades is best described as believing that things such as omnipotence or perfection are impossible concepts, yet it is the purpose of mankind to pursue them anyway. Deondavra is humble and refuses to celebrate his accomplishments or his power, and in fact considers it to be an insult should someone worship or cherish him in any way as such. This is because he does not consider himself particularly special; he was not born from special blood, nor of a special race or ancestry—he wasn’t even born powerful, so doesn’t want people to think it. Because at all times Deondavra does not reminisce about past accomplishments, when he acts as a leader, he will only speak about the issues they currently face; Deondavra never talks as though he lives in prosperous world, even if the state of Auxe looks like it’s full of candy canes and unicorns to everyone else. This is because Deondavra believes that talking about the current prosperity will only cloud the ambition to achieve further success. When Deondavra encounters someone who is arrogant—Someone who believes that he/she is a god or demands worship, Deondavra is known to act very aggressive to them, due to his own zealous beliefs. It gives him very little patience and acquires a very short temper, which, as Deondavra, leads to things far worse than simply beating them up. That said, Deondavra certainly doesn’t consider himself omnipotent, or even truly immortal or undefeatable, it’s just that when you’ve been around as long as he has, you know that these people have are so far from achieving it that it’s not even funny. Deondavra essentially wants to remind them of that (they also probably insulted him to his face because plenty of people who want to conquer the world will want to take him on). Deondavra is an atheist, since (to him at least) he does generally know enough to reliably assume there is no such thing as a god, but some would say that he does which it were so—Not himself, but simply someone that he could look up to.
Deondavra has very little interest in preserving the lives of living people—Hades of all people knows that conventional death is not the end to a person, so he couldn’t care less about stopping it. On the other hand, Deondavra is very defensive on the case of Hybolian lives, viewing all, even his enemies’ lives, as sacred. Hades is protective of the sanctity of souls not only out of duty, but because Hybolians were sacrificed to create souls in the first place, so he finds it important to honor them.
Despite these interests, Deondavra will not judge people based on their mortality (Living, spirit, Hybolian.) if at least not invoke prejudice involving their intelligence or personality; He will treat anyone he meets politely and civically (Although he is not a very patient man). Deondavra, unsurprisingly, favors people that don’t complain about their problems and can be quite generous to those that don’t look for help, yet need it, even if he just met them. Hades is also not one to consider other people’s practices to be beneath him such as taking the subway, and would not be unwilling to partake in such practices amongst regular people.
Deondavra prefers to talk in long, articulate sentences; the opposite of short, blunt, and rude.
Deondavra’s last name is Orikalk. However, only people he particularly dislikes are permitted to use that name-if he likes you, he’ll ask you to use Deondavra, and if he passively doesn’t like you, he’ll ask you to call him Mr. Orikalk.
Minor traits:
Deondavra has a sweet tooth and especially loves cookies, particularly macadamia nut, red velvet, and double chocolate. If you go to his home or his office, you will almost always find a white box of cookies (which will probably be empty if Deondavra isn’t there.) As a Hybolian, he doesn’t need to eat and doing so naturally causes him to take bathroom breaks, but in his eyes cookies are one of the very few things worth it. If you want to give anything that’s sweet though, any food item will make him happy with joy, but Deondavra doesn’t actually like most sugary drinks—particularly soda and fruit drinks. If Deondavra needed to eat a regular palette: He doesn’t like Chicken, Turkey, and most kinds of Fish. He would drink wine, unsweetened tea, or occasionally strawberry smoothies.
Deondavra has taken up cooking as a hobby lately in order to search for the ultimate cookie.
He likes 52-card games and table tennis, and would never shy away from playing with someone. He’ll happily play with basically anyone willing, especially since he, like any other man, gets bored; often he’ll allow other people to pick the game, though, and he’ll play just about any game you could do in the average room. He does not, however, like Football or Basketball.
Background:
Deondavra was born in Ancient or Old Niag; he was never amongst the living, nor was he ever amongst the dead. Hades was a Hybolian throughout his existence, something that has become extremely rare within Niag or Auxe. Hybolian bodies are unable to chemically interact with anything other than themselves, including other Hybolian bodies, so it’s impossible for Hybolians to sexually reproduce and have children (Outside of Old Niag). With that in mind, Hybolians in general are unfit to live normal lives for various other reasons (technically immortal, unable to eat, drink, breathe, or recover from wounds like normal people). So, to Hybolians wishing to populate and conquer Niag, this presents a problem. Hades fixed this by turning Hybolians into something that was fit to populate; The solution was to split them into a body and a soul, which of whom were unaffected by these setbacks and could live normal lives (including death), with Zeus being the first Hybolian to undergo this transmutation. This transmutation was not and still is imperfect, instead transforming the Hybolians into corrupted beings before Deondavra could fully transmute them into body and soul.
These corrupted beings are known as the Astatos, and can be considered to be split somewhere between mortality and spirituality. Deondavra to this day still splits Hybolians and repolishes Astatos to bring them to mortality. Daemon Park consists entirely of Demon Souls, spirits that have been freshly brought to mortality and when they die, will reincarnate into the people we see born every day of the year. This is Deondavra’s self-appointed job: To manage and maintain a mortality cycle that he himself created. Although it would be physically possible to appoint another person with the powers needed to fix Astatos into Demon Souls, Deondavra has never done so. The most he has ever done do help ease the burden of transmutation is give another the ability to bring Astatos straight to him. The first person to receive any form of Deondavra’s power was Jure, the brother of Zeus, and has since lost that power due to treachery.
Demon Souls within Auxe (Daemon Park) have the chance to swear allegiance to Deondavra, and the ones that do form his and Deondavra’s military power (Black Demons are primarily aligned to Daemon Park, while White Demons primarily serve under Deondavra. All of them still share the same basic duties however. Red Demons are the Demons that opt out of swearing allegiance in favor of living out their afterlives peacefully.) Deondavra governs this land like a nation and uses its military power to protect the balance of mortality, as well as Daemon Park and Auxe.
Powers:
Hades will do this type of thing to a person if he or she sufficiently pisses him off, although Deondavra will also use a whip in addition to punching and kicking. This to him is not much more than stress relief and when doing this believe me, he may not just have begun at Avatar Wan. I do not deny that Hades might have some anger issues.
Now imagine Hades using that aforementioned whip on you ten times, as the world counts loudly to ten. Here comes the sun, motherfucker!
*Pyros Vitae and Pyros Mortis:
Deondavra sculpted all of mortality using fire from each of his hands. From his left fist, Hades brought death. From his right fist, Hades brought life. The silver flame in his left fist has the power to kill anything that isn’t immortal or Hybolian instantly—no exceptions. The golden flame in his right fist has the power to bring any of those subject to death back to life, or reincarnate them altogether. With the sun, all is lively and in order. Without Deondavra, life and death shall be brought into chaos. Deondavra’s responsibilities mean he is carrying the world as we know it all like Atlas. He is the brightest star in the sky and will never set. Deondavra is the sun.
You are literally facing the man who created the concept of death. What makes you think any amount of armor will be enough to prevent you from dying? People die because their heart stops and blood stops flowing to the brain. That causes death… which means under normal circumstances, death happens indirectly. Not here. Hades can directly cause you to die, without even needed your heart to stop. He can revive you just as easily, like flicking a switch on or off. Sometimes Deondavra tortures people by killing them and bring them back hundreds of times. With a punch from his left, you’re but a deceased old man. From a punch from his right, you become a newborn infant, freshly outside the womb—over and over again, each time becoming a different newborn boy/girl and dying an old man/woman.
If a Hybolian or other immortal life form comes into contact with Deondavra’s left hand, it won’t kill them—instantly. Instead, coming into contact with Hades’s fire as someone who is not subject to mortality is the physical embodiment of burning in hell—it will burn you. Even an ember of such a flame will burn you as though you’ve been seared by the flames of a thousand suns. It will be so painful, you will go mad. The body can faint when it is subject to something such as extreme pain, but you will not have that luxury here. This, otherworldly pain is caused because you will be chained back to mortality; whether the pain is cause by the body and soul reverting back to how it should be, or if the act of experiencing so much pain forces the body to get back in line is not perfectly clear—but does it really matter?
You can survive a little bit of Deondavra’s punishment, although a singe can take years to recover from, let alone stop in intense pain. However, get burned alive too much and you will be purged of everything that made you human, let alone a physical person. Sufficient exposure to Deondavra’s wrath will strip anyone of their immortality—Hybolian, or otherwise. Anything that prevented you from dying—Any form of immortality, anything, will be gone. Hades can then dispose of you at will, easily, and without grace. If Deondavra’s power were to be summarized in a single sentence, it would be “The ability to kill anyone regardless of who they are.” (How could someone like Hades consider himself truly immortal when the power to kill even himself is literally in the palm of his hand?)
When Deondavra transmutes a Hybolian or comparable person into a regular, mortal human, he does it as such: Remember being beaten senseless with punches, kicks, and whipped as a regular person? Similar process. Hades shall beat his flames into you senselessly, more and more until you lose everything that made you who you are—He will beat you down until you are but a grey glob, with trace remnants of hair and teeth sticking out of your grey, playdoh-like body. Your mental state will have become as coherent as your physical state at this point—Broken and amorphous. Hades then has the task of beating you back into something that remotely resembles a human shape. He takes his fists and pounds your body again and again like a piece of molten metal against a hammer and an anvil; with each strike you progressively resemble something more and more human-like. After Deondavra finally beats you into something sensible, as though he were finishing up an art project, your freshly reforged body better be able to do one, and only one thing: Kneel.
Otherwise: here comes the sun.
Pyros Vitae/Mortis in combat:
“Taking on Deondavra is easy. It’s like riding a bike. Except the bike is on fire and you’re on fire and everything is on fire because you’re in hell.”
So we talked about how getting touched by Hades will either kill you instantly or feel like you’ve invoked the wrath of Satan, but we never talked about how easily you’ll be able to dodge his powers. That quote summarizes it in complete and utter summary, and it’s more literal than you think.
Boost Jump and Alpha:
“When a Hybolian draws power using the Hybolians techniques, it causes some visual effects that accompany it: Snow-like particles encircle the user and wrap around their body parts in an elegant dance; the user binds the energy around themselves long enough so that they can make use of it, and the more they bind, the more power they have available. While this is happening, it has a subtle effect on the user’s surroundings—random objects transmute into the energy that the user is summoning (Visually like Senbonzakura from bleach but with white particles instead of pink) This is, however, describing someone of average caliber using the technique.”
When Hades decides to fight seriously, expect something like this to happen to every object in the vicinity
As noted by the passage above, object transmutation plays a role in how Alpha gets harvested. So naturally, when Hades decides to get his Boost Jump butt in gear, literally everything within several acres of himself gets destroyed—it all gets turned into Alpha energy, which then in-turn causes a hurricane-like blizzard of particles to swarm in his vicinity, and dissolve everything in its wake. Deondavra can raze entire city blocks with the first half of Boost Jump alone, turning all into raw power at his disposal. Every single life form can be expected to be killed by this technique, but since Deondavra doesn’t really care about the lives of the living, you can still expect him to perform this technique in heavily populated areas, where it will
do the most damage.
This display is not without its second half, of course. Deondavra’s movement capabilities are supplemented solely by boost jump but can match even the fastest characters regardless (Timelord.odt characters, but technically otherwise); Boost Jump is usually not a very good technique for raw speed since it takes time to set up. Deondavra can also amplify the strength of his sword swing with Aternus, and block energy blasts with a backhand swing using the flat of the blade (using Boost Jump); Deondavra can do this even if the attacks are inhumanly large compared to his own body.
Realm of Will
These flames greatly resemble Hellfire, but to say these flames are copies of Demon Fire would be an incorrect Statement; Hellfire is an inferior mimic of Hade’s Flames.
Whenever they’re power is drawn from Hades’s Body, their attributes affect the surrounding area as well as himself. When Hades uses the power of Death, Everything in the surrounding area, such as plants and animals, begin to wither away to mere Skeletons. Hade’s Body begins to lose all of its flesh, and turns to resemble the more iconic Death. When Hades uses the Power of Life, however, instead of losing flesh his body begins to slightly increase in muscle mass, and more interestingly, it causes plants such as flowers, grass, and trees to grow uncontrollably, even if there were no plants in the area to begin with. If both are used simultaneously then nothing happens as the powers are the opposite of each other and therefore cancel each other out. The physical changes Hades undergoes are cosmetic.
⦁ SoulBurn
As these Flames are the base for Hellfire, Hades has access to all of the Hellfire-based abilities of Demons, with SoulBurn being a primary example. Though its name implies he can only perform the technique with Pyros Vitae, Hades can use it with either flame.
⦁ “Black”(White) SoulBurn
Since Hades is a Hybolian, he can, just like any White Demon, use Black SoulBurn. As he himself is not a Demon, the Energy he draws is White instead of Black.
Pyros Mortis and Vitae can be combined into a bronze colored flame to slowly heal Hade’s Body, in a similar fashion to Demons. For Demons, who have both their Hellfire Flame and healing Azure Flame, their offensive flame is a replica of Pyros Vitae, and their healing flame is a replica of Pyros Mortis. The difference between the flames and Hellfire is that Hellfire does not truthfully target Life or Death, but simply replicates it, thereby giving it a universal effect. Demons that never leave their realm will never be aware of this, and this is why White Demons are able to heal with the Azure Flame, despite not being spirits. In addition to being able to use Demon powers, these Life and Death flames have exclusive attributes not replicated by Demons—The Ability to Create Life and Death, itself.
Hades has the ability to generate Living Bodies and Spirits whenever he pleases, and can do so in mass numbers if desired. The Life he creates can take almost any form of life, such as a tree or a giant, however, when only using the power of Pyros Vitae, these creatures are spawned Soulless, and because of that are unable to move independently outside of Hade’s Flame. However, they still allow for excellent physical defense and to some extent, offense, such as creating a large tree to block an incoming attack. The Spirits Hades creates with Pyros Mortis are able to act independently, but are one-dimensional—Hades needs time to create fully developed Souls that would be in an ordinary person. These Spirits do not have the ability to interact with the physical world, but are tangible to Energy-based offense and can be used as a Suicide Defense. They are, however, able to directly attack opposing Spirits and can Attack Hybolians as if they were tangible, making them viable on the offensive. By combining the two abilities, Hades can abusively create minions with the sole purpose of doing whatever he desires until relieved of their duty by Death. Even if an opposing Realm of Will is active, Hades is never far away from an army.
⦁ Cleaver-Sword “Aternus”
It is single-handed, and has a roughly two and a half foot long, very broad, bronze colored blade ornately carved with a handful of runes on either side, which can occasionally glow like magma. Much of the base of the blade as well as the hilt is decorated by gold threads, with a crisscrossing over the black leather of the hilt, and a gold, cap-like pommel at the base, with two small laces of red ribbon extruding from said pommel. It has a simple, but royal, orbital gold ring for a guard, though attached to the hilt. From the tip of the sword’s blade is a ribbon or whip-like steam of fire that can defy gravity.
This sword has existed long before the “Hybolian” ever had meaning, as Hades has possessed it when he was a powerless Teenager; when he and Ckronos were mere neighbors separated only by white picket fence. Being one of the first and original Hybolians, this sword saw the creation of Niag, the first world, the corruption of Zeus, and the eternity that followed with Ckronos as Hades’ enemy. Legend has it that over this time, the sword gained a mind of its own. As Hades’ primary weapon, the sword’s “Spirit” has seen an eternity of Hades exerting his dominance over rebellions, to the point where it has become bored of facing against any type of absolute power. Consequently, Aternus’ eternity of battle has resulted it to become tempered to the point where it has outgrown being damaged. Being used to face against off Ckronos has said to have made the blade itself truly eternal. No matter what it faces—the end of all universes, the power of a million times and spaces, or even some power far beyond that, that neither Hades nor Ckronos could ever withstand—this blade will survive and continue on existing, forever.
The obvious power of the blade is its absolute and infinite defensive potential—Hades will break before it, does. The blade’s second notable ability is that the flaming whip attached to the tip of its blade acts as an extension—the flame cuts just as well as the actual blade. Furthermore, the flame can be used to block an attack just as well as the actual steel. Hades can also choose the length of the stream of fire, for it to be either long, or nothing at all. This can allow him to release the flame in such a way that it appears to be the trail of the blade’s swing. One swing from even the sword’s blunt side when wielded by Hades is enough to turn a large boulder into gravel with a single swing. While a single-handed weapon usually has less defensive capabilities, this is compensated by the broad blade and Hades’ ability to freely wield it with either hand.
Aternus can also transform into a scythe, with the blade as the scythe head and the hilt extending to staff length. In this form, it is less practical as a melee weapon, but offers easier use of Hades’ flame—similar to how a wand is to a wizard.
⦁ Realm of Will
Hades’ world of willpower turns the sky’s color into a deep crimson, and sets the clouds alight with dark violet flame. In this world, much of the terrain withers, and from it, numerous crooked trees grow within the dimension to set a new battleground. These trees have a dark, reddish brown bark to them and their leaves are large and bleeding red. From the horizon, enormous leafless branches encircle the atmosphere to roughly 45 degrees above the horizon, as if they were cradling the atmosphere like a mounted gemstone.
The Realm of Will is a literal extension of one’s willpower, consciousness, and energy into the physical world as a way to forcibly govern and control the power of Nature, and the World itself, and to turn it into a reflection of one’s personality. It is essentially the Hybolian’s sole power worked in reverse.
When Hades’ Realm of Will is active (Or any for that matter) all things within it are forcibly encaged; it completely isolates the surrounding universe and no amount of force will ever be able to bypass it. Even the user is subject to this, and cannot allow anything to enter or leave without completely removing the enclosure. However, Realm of Will’s second power, is to be able to completely control the flow of power from both nature and the world itself, to prohibit anyone of the user’s choosing from drawing it, and is effective to quite a drastic extent—even breathing becomes very difficult and potentially suffocating. As a result, any ability that requires drawing power from an external source cannot be used, by the Absolute Iron Fist by the user. However, more than one Realms of Will can be active at once, in which all of those in control must consent to the use of power—effectively leveling the playing field if both the user and enemy have the ability to use it.
⦁ Realm of Will—Wrath of Earth
With two circles formed by the flex of one wrist, and a downward palm movement, Hades Activates this ability. Once used, any one or any thing flying in front of the user is forcefully swatted down to the ground as if by an intense gravity or weight.
⦁ Realm of Will—Wrath of Return
With two circles formed by the flex of one wrist, and a pulling motion towards a target in the distance, the target is forcefully pulled to the user. The air around the user distorts to make it look like the user is actually pulling on the thin air, and the target appears yanked back as if it were attached to it.
⦁ Boost Jump
Boost Jump involves the user drawing in external power—usually in the form of absorbing petal-like white partials of energy, and then using that energy to create a potent force for an effect, usually for blinding swift movements, unseeable to nearly every eye. Once the Hybolian has absorbed power, he may use it for the remainder of the battle without recharging. When a force caused by Boost Jump is exerted, one to three white rings of energy are released from that specific point; when used for speed, these rings are quickly released from the feet, and the Hybolian becomes extremely nimble as well. This force can be used in midair and can essentially allow the user to move quickly in any direction, or even to jump very high. Boost Jump itself is fundamental and because of that has many uses. Often it is used to fully break off impacts or falls, and occasionally for offensive purposes. It is also highly notable for being able to be used to completely neuter an attack of any kind with equal and opposite force, though this usually requires high analytical skill or Soul-Gene to perform. Not surprisingly, Hades himself has mastered this basic ability to a degree far beyond most due to his raw age and experience. The scale of which he can forcibly draw-in and release power is of far greater magnitude. When Hades draws in energy, for example, it comes to appear as an immense snowstorm large enough to cover the entire battlefield, with him as the eye of the storm. This, however, only lasts for an instant, before Hades is able to move at unimaginable speeds. Hades can also forcibly draw enough power from a single point to cause Space itself to distort and tear. Hades is not short on its utility options either, and can also use it very well defensively despite not having Soul-Gene—This is especially the case when combined with Aternus.

And, Allegedly:
⦁ Hybolian Sacred Forms;Final form—Omega, form of Death
