Praeteritum
Appearence:
A very large and muscular old man, though only of slightly above average height. He has Gold Eyes, a thick nose, and many deep wrinkles from wisdom and experience, similar to an aged Viking. His hair is extremely long and cape-like over his back, but it is tied town near then end. Overall, it has not receded as much as one would expect from his age. He has a long, thick beard, much like that of a hermit. He wears a brownish-yellow, robe-like coat that covers his whole body, and has a sash to tie the lower half like a skirt. The coat is also well decorated with black designs all over it. The interior is pure black in color, which is notable as Ckronos usually keeps the top half of his coat around his waist when entering battle. This reveals Black markings all over Ckronos' chest that precisely follow the lines one acquires from entering Alpha. The lines are continued in yellow over the interior top-half of his robe. These lines are dubbed the "Lines of Nirvana" by Hades, but Ckronos simply finds Hade's attempt to place formality over them amusing.
Plot(Underlined portions are currently contradictory):
Ckronos appears in book one nearing the end of Hade's battle against Death. Ckronos watches the fight, waiting for Hades to take back his power. Once Hades intends to kill him for insubordination, however, Ckronos intervenes. He snatches Death's body, and then seals it away. He exclaims that he will not forgive Hades for what he has done to his two sons. Hades yells at Ckronos that it was he who killed Zeus but Ckronos silences him immediately and says that it was his fault.
Ckronos then says that both him and Hera have no right in playing the roles that they did to this world, and it’s time for him to crush them with his own Iron Fist. With that, Hera joins the battle. Ckronos then continues and states what they've done to the world around them is terrible; their influence has caused much pain, suffering and corruption. He points to the distorted Souls of Ace, Duke, Kris, Mary, and Ashley, who are being guarded by an Erica-possessed Ethan. He states that because of it, he will gladly end this sub-dimension(Armeniah) from the face of the Earth. He activates Realm of Will, causing Both his and Hades' to clash with each other, and no one can escape. Ckronos wins, but Erica intervenes. She demands that no one be killed, and that the world she knows and everyone in it preserved. Ckronos takes a look at her Soul, and sees that it is related to Zeus. With that, Ckronos nearly cries, and agrees on one condition; That He takes in Erica as one of his own granddaughter. Erica, noticing his feeling, agrees. She wonders if she could possibly understand him better.
Later, though still in the first book, Death is presented in front of Ckronos, who is sitting upon a Anglo-Saxon styled throne. Death addresses him formally and apologizes, but before he can even really do that, Ckronos gives him a big bear hug. Death says he was trying to save Zeus, but Ckronos says that Zeus had died a long time ago, and that the Spirit that was destroyed was not the innocent child that was once his child. This however, surprises Death, believing that Ckronos loved the evil Zeus, but Ckronos points out that there are many things he does not understand about his motivations, due to being associated with Hybolians.
Erica is watching this, and once the mood dies down she begins to talk to him. She defensively questions him what happened to them, and Ckronos then tells her that he deserted them in Niag. She questions about the world; Ckronos did not destroy the world—He conquered it. He also says that there was nothing he could do for Ace, Duke, Kris, Mary, Ashley, and Ethan, because their souls have fused with their bodies. He then points out that she is also Hybolian, who has not yet realized it. Finally, Ckronos says that she is free to meet them whenever she wishes and that they are welcome here. Any Friend of hers is a friend of Ckronos. Hera and Hades however are strictly forbidden.
During book 2, none of the characters are aware that Ckronos welcomes them. Their motivation to get stronger is driven by their resentment of being unable to stand by themselves, and that they believe they must take back their homeland (Armeniah). Eventually, they do campaign against Ckronos to take it back. In which, they battle. Ckronos eventually shows why this world is better without them, and that it shouldn't be changed. Despite this they still hold strong bonds to it.
Lore:
Ckronos can be considered the Hybolian anarchist, being against Hybolian-specific superiority and especially against Neathen dimensions (Places that have been chamfered off of Niag and made their own place to be re-shaped.) He is specifically against Hades, but also the prevention of management of Corrupted Spirits and believes Hybolians should be allowed to get forged in this manner, but also doesn’t believe Hybolians should be re-forged without the consent of the being itself, and that it should be their choice. He owns a small kingdom that is virtually a utopia, placed in Niag, and consists of Hybolians and the split beings of humankind living together in complete harmony, and as equals. The Capitol, although not based on it remotely (It was conceived in a dream a long time ago) looks something like the sanctum of Aion, although not floating.
Ckronos’ Kingdom is much smaller than Hades’ Auxe. There are plenty rumors between them, such as Hades stationed himself out of Niag explicitly because of Ckronos (Not inconsiderable because of his powers below). In spite of this, Ckronos rarely assaults Auxe, and this is implicitly because of his relations to his people—He values them and his comrades much more than he is interested in preparing for war, in fact, he is well-known to take in charity work. For example, a peasant could enter his war room while Ckronos was planning his next move, ask him to babysit, and Ckronos would abandon his plans and personally look over his peasant’s children. He has also been a local mall’s Christmas Santa before. All of the not-enormous population can be considered his comrades. Some say Ckronos taught his Trollskap to others, but this is not true. However, most Hybolians belong to either faction in some way; even indifferent people such as Scarlet have a side. Seaira and Arthur Cainus(Wolfmaster) are at present-day associated with Ckronos’ kingdom, alongside associations with the creation of Frenzy and Pain, respectively.
Powers
Ckronos cannot create energy from within himself. Ckronos cannot create objects. Ckronos cannot go back or forward in time. Ckronos cannot destroy or create space. Ckronos cannot create or destroy life or death like Hades can. Ckronos cannot attack your mind or cause illusions. Ckronos cannot bypass a Hybolian’s basic immunities. Ckronos did not create the world. Ckronos did not create Hybolians. Ckronos cannot forge prestigious weapons. Ckronos cannot restore a Corrupted Soul to what it was before. Ckronos cannot regenerate.
What Ckronos’ Trollskap can do, is redirect and revise the flow of all things within.
To put this in less poetic terms, Ckronos’ sole ability granted by his Trollskap is to control the flow of power within all things in this world.
Revising History
While it is said Ckronos can’t go back or forward in Time, Ckronos can change the flow of time within the memories of both inanimate and organic objects to act as if a given history has occurred. So while Ckronos cannot move time, he can change time to make it look like it has changed, like events have or have yet to happen, or new events entirely. For the very reason Hybolians can draw on the power of the world, they’re immune to their timelines being destroyed. In his base state, it is limited to physical contact but no less effective, but that contact can be instigated either by or against Ckronos, and because Ckronos’ influence of time expands to all things in this world, no ordinary Weapon can harm him; Ckronos can change their history of the sword to make it believe that it was never forged. Alpha or higher lets this power expand to outside physical contact, and the entire world.
Second Chapter
Refers to the power that lets him change the history of any object he meets. Usually it lets him cause the target’s body to believe it is much more ancient than it actually is, causing it to turn to dust.
Step of Time
This technique lets Ckronos move without letting time progress whilst moving; meaning, there is no interval of time between where he once stood and where he chose to be, making it truly impossible to react against and effectively giving him infinite speed. Because of this ability, as long as you are in the same universe as Ckronos, he can appear before you at any time, any place, anywhere, and you will never have the chance to be warned, let alone, prepare.
Revising Destiny
“You can Attack me however you like, but in the end, once it leaves your body it is under my mercy.”
Ckronos can control the flow of all forces within the world and redirect them, no matter how strong. This means that in the presence of Ckronos, he can fully control who or what receives forces, and how they are received. The attacks of all Enemies can be retargeted to either themselves or even another enemy, and once again, no matter how strong. When Ckronos does this, the attack will at first appear to connect; if it is an explosion, the explosion will appear as normal; the injuries that would have been sustained by the target appear elsewhere. However, it is not limited to anything, and is not always that simple; an Attack meant to erase an entire village can be reflected in its entirety only upon the person who fired it, not harming anyone else. Likewise, an Attack meant for one person can be taken and redistributed to many. It is very similar to Zeus and Erica’s “Winds of Chaos”, although even more subtle, much more powerful, and, in fact, related.
Iradei Sol Perditonee
Legend says Ckronos uses his power to redirect and reflow the nuclear force contained in every star in the night sky, collect it into the zenith of the sky, and the fire it down in an intense beam down from the heavens, compressed so tightly that it’s only the width of a small house. There is no fear in the Earth being destroyed, as Ckronos can control its outcome exactly how he wants, but just imagine every star in the sky coalescing into one giant beam.
Punch of Timelord.odt
When Ckronos prepares this punch his arm is enveloped in a yellow fire-like aura, drawn from the power surrounding him. Once he beings to punch his target, time begins to slow down, slower and slower; his fist begins to move slower and slower, the aura dissipates away as it travels, and the fist finally stops, frozen in time. With that, and time frozen, Ckronos breaks away and becomes able to move again, with one step of time, and then throws another punch; one that shatters both time and space around the target, into a thousand pieces. It creates a huge, nuke-like shockwave at the moment of impact and completely blows everything away for miles around it. However, because it shatters apart space-time, and not the target itself directly, it’s completely irrelevant on what the target was made of; whether it was indestructible, or not—The Target is just left shattered like a broken glass pane.
Realm of Will
When Ckronos uses this power, it has the same effects for any other user; the enemy is completely prevented from using the forces of nature or draw power from the world itself; They cannot escape Ckronos’ world. However, as for its appearance, it causes the world to turn black-and-white, as if it were in an old movie, and then the entire world erodes away into dust like a grey desert. Only the outmost reaches of the realm of will does the world’s previous appearance remain intact, making it look like the part is overseeing Ckronos in battle, like how the boardwalk oversees a beach and those within it. Constant torrents of wind pick up the grey sand from the ground, making it look ghastly and hollow. Although often used for small confines to entrap opponents, the radius of the region consumed is virtually unlimited.
Bloodline Psychic Pressure
Ckronos and his two children, and one grandchild, all have some form of psychic power relating to pressure, with Ckronos’ being the strongest. With this power, there is a momentary although very slight delay before Ckronos wills it, and the power connects; this means that anyone who can sense it has a window of possibility to dodge it, however, only the fastest of the fast can do so with the reaction time given, making it outside the realm of most. However, for those slow enough, or inanimate objects, the power of the pressure is enormous and able to crush them almost instantly. It can also be applied to a wide area or to the ground; for example, Ckronos can destroy and entire city using gravity-like pressure to the ground, causing everything to collapse in ruin. Ckronos is also able to stand in mid air using this power.
Moon Sword
Exactly as its name implies. Ckronos uses his psychic power to crush and condense the moon, pull it out of its orbit, and wield it in the form of a longsword. The object therefore has the same mass as the moon despite being in the palm of Ckronos’ hand. It requires so much of his concentration to maintain(And not to destroy everything because of its gravity), that he cannot use it for other purposes with the exception of flying, since it would be too heavy to let stand on the earth. Instead of making it a longsword, Ckronos can simply make it into a small ball. If it is in the form of a ball, it is thrown to attack targets like some form of baseball. It can also be used for juggling as a form of entertainment.
Hybolian Sacred forms
There is a very important difference between normal Hybolians and Ckronos when it comes to using Alpha, and Beta, and that is; for a normal Hybolian, these abilities grant enormous power, but come at serious costs. For example, Alpha will tear the user’s body to shreds after its used, either severely injuring or killing them outright. Ckronos experiences none of that; he is unaffected by the recoil that any of these forms cause, and can therefore use them freely as long as he is not prevented by the use of a Realm of Will. This includes the mind-altering effects included in Beta.
